Develop Self-Awareness On The Process Of Receding Gums
The start of receding gums is the initial bacterial plaque build up on the teeth and gums. Plaque removal is very essential and can be performed through proper oral care and by a dental hygienist. Once the plaque is not removed in a day-to-day basis, it can create toxins that can cause gum irritation and inflammation. In this process, the gums tissues are being destroyed, resulting to the separation of the tooth. Then spaces or deep pockets are formed which serves as a trap for bacteria, thereby aggravating the condition. Receding gums can be best prevented by brushing teeth with the proper brushing techniques with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Put away hard-bristled toothbrush and avoid excessive pressure brushing with long horizontal brush strokes.
